The Wedding of Shelley and Duncan @ Wymondham Abbey and Park Farm, Hethersett

Firstly, apologies for the slight delay in writing up the recent blog posts on here, we've been incredibly busy with weddings and portraits and we've managed to squeeze in our hols as well (which were lovely but like all holidays over way to quickly).

So back to the next wedding in my list of ones to write up and this was Shelley and Duncan's day which we photographed at the end of April. Shelley and Duncan's Wedding took place at Wymondham Abbey followed by their reception at Park Farm, Hethersett. We had a lovely day and despite the cold weather it was sunny and all the guests braved the cold for some group shots outside. Looking at the photos now you'd never tell that it was just a few degrees above freezing!

Here's a selection of Shelley and Duncan's photos starting at Wymondham Abbey before the ceremony with Duncan, their boys and the Vicar arriving:

Duncan was pretty nervous beforehand but soon the nerves disappeared once Shelley arrived

Shelley had 4 adult bridesmaids and 4 little ones (I know there's only two or three little ones in these photos as Shelley's daughter arrived with her and her dad later).  This baby pink colour is quite unusual to see at the moment and looked so pretty and girly on all of them

Shelley looked amazing and I adore the slightly pink tint to her dress

The Abbey itself was an amazing building.  It was a slight shame that the Abbey only allowed us to be at the very back to photograph but we still got some lovely photos

Here's Shelley, Duncan, theirs boys and little girl - we were really pleased to get this one as Shelley had warned me that their children don't stand still (or in the same place) for long

This photo makes it look like a much warmer day than it was

Love, love, love these ones in the Abbey grounds

Shelley did all the flowers herself - what a brave, talented lady

Arriving at Park Farm they had an avenue of Daffodils which had we not had such a cold winter probably wouldn't have been in flower for their day (I'm trying to look on the positive side of all the flowers being behind this year)

Shelley, also did all the decorations and finishing touches for the reception even down to their wishing well for guests to leave them wishes and the candy bar!

The toastmaster performed a ceremony where he sliced the top off a bottle of champagne (there is a special name he gave to this but I've forgotten).  Both David and I seem to have clicked the camera at the same time from different angles if you look where the cork is in these two photos

Can you guess the song from these two photos?

If you attended Shelley and Duncan's Wedding and would like to view their wedding photos they are online now, there is a password but I'm sure they'll be happy to share it with you.

Shelley and Duncan are a really sweet, relaxed couple with four gorgeous children. They were a pleasure to work with and the atmosphere was perfect with all their guests enjoying themselves. We are certain that Shelley and Duncan will have a long and happy marriage ahead of them and we hope that our paths will cross again in the future. We're delighted you love your images as much as we do.
